“Aquatic Cosmos” is a four track EP. While I usually don’t use drums in my Ambient music, this EP consists of four tracks, which are build around subtle rhythmic patterns. The title track was recorded live during my Ambient Night 14 stream, and the other three tracks are mixes, that I have been working in this year, without releasing them. I hope that you enjoy this “chill” version of Martin Stürtzer!
CIRCULAR OSCILLATIONS

“Circular Oscillations” is the second album by Martin Stürtzer, recorded with the concept of a vinyl release in mind. Each of the six tracks features Stürtzer’s unique style of sequencing analog synthesizers, along with atmospheric pads and drones. Both formats (vinyl and digital) have received their own mastering to address the individual requirements of each medium and ensure the best listening experience.
SPACE IS NOT EMPTY

This album features music from my last home concerts and tracks that I have been working on recently. The two long opening tracks “Space is not empty” and “Cosmic Timecode” show the full bandwidth of dense pads, deep Basslines and Berlin School sequencing. The third track “Dance of the Pulsar” is an improvisation with a new hardware controller that allows to play software instruments very dynamically. The forth track “Integrated Flux” brings in the TB303 and the melodic side of my personality. The album closes with “Sinus est“, which are two patterns from the Moog Matriarch synthesizer.
AMBIENT NIGHTS VOL. 1

This album is a collection of recordings that I made during my “Ambient Night” sessions.
Each of the four long-form tracks has a very slow pace and builds up sound layer by sound layer. Pads and minimalistic melodies from the Sequential Prophet 10, OB-6, and Pro-2 are accompanied by sequences from the Moog synthesizers, modular system, and Waldorf Iridium.
The “Ambient Night” sessions give me a platform to improvise and create music during a live performance. Most sounds are programmed and patched on the fly with a focus on modulations and a balanced frequency range. The tonality is often built around a single chord with its options, expansions, and parallels.

Recorded live using a Theremin alongside a collection of analog and digital instruments, Extradimension captures a raw and expressive energy, invoking the spirit of performance and creativity of these two musicians, who have been working together since 2001.
