RELATIVITY

2022 CD / DIGITAL

This album was released on CD in October 2022. Alex on Bandcamp says: “The man and his music become more and more exceptionally sophisticated. Highly recommended. Anyone into Berliner Schule der Elektronischen Musik will be amused to discover a new realm of it if not already. Favorite track: Relativity.”

SUBMERGED

2022 DIGITAL

These two long-form Ambient tracks were recorded during my “Ambient Night” sessions in August 2022. The title track “Submerged” is a very relaxing and quiet piece of music. “Aurora” starts with slowly evolving pads that expand into a set of synthesizer sequences.

MICROGRAVITY

2022 DIGITAL

Released on Exosphere (by Synphaera)

Originally released in 2017 under the name Thalaron, this seminal electronic ambient work from Martin Stürtzer is remastered in 24BIT digital from the original mixes, along with a new version of Approaching recorded for this reissue.

Each track carries a set of carefully programmed polymetric sequences and custom-built sounds that are played and recorded during live studio sessions using analog synths, drum machines and state of the art digital tools.

Includes a new version of Approaching recording in November, 2022.

ANTIMATTER RESONANCE

2022 DIGITAL

This Ambient album features the recordings of my home concerts nr. 38 and nr. 36. Most of the music was improvised and recorded directly to stereo.

Long evolving Ambient soundscapes meet subtle sequencer work, played on vintage and modern electronic instruments.

EPSILON ERIDANI

2022 VINYL LP / DIGITAL

Epsilon Eridani was recorded in 2021 and is my first vinyl release as “Martin Stürtzer”. Side A is the “sequencer side” with Berlin School style synthesizer sequences that unfold over lush pads and bass sounds. Side B is the “ambient” side with a long form track full of atmospheric soundscapes and analog modulations.

Each version (LP and digital) was mastered to achieve the best sound possible on the medium by Peter Anderson (Raison d’Être).

THETA SERPENTIS

2022 CD / DIGITAL

Martin Stürtzer presents his unique blend of Ambient, atmospheric soundscapes and Berlin school style sequencer work on his new album “Theta Serpentis”. Recorded on modern and vintage synthesizer equipment during studio sessions and in preparation of his acclaimed home concert series.
