Starfields

2026 Digital

This album is a collection of space ambient music that I recorded between February and April 2026. “Cosmic Background Explorer” is a long-form ambient track featuring sounds from the Oberheim Xpander, the UDO DMNO, and other analog synthesizers. The music was recorded during Home Concert 82 in April 2026.

Tracks 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 were recorded during Home Concert 80.

“Protogalaxy” and “Invisible Spectrum” are two more long-form tracks that I released as part of Home Concert 81.

The final track of the album is “Event Horizon,” a new recording of one of my earliest tracks from the “Farcaster” album.

Sphäre Sechs – Nebular Resonance

2026 CD / Digital

Nebular Resonance” is the seventh studio album by Sphäre Sechs. It was recorded in Wuppertal between 2024 and 2026 using analog and digital synthesizers (Martin Stürtzer) and the Moog Etherwave Theremin (Christian Stritzel).

Christian and Martin met in 2000 in Wuppertal’s improvised music scene and started performing together in 2001. Gigs at the Sophienkirche (the location of the first Phobos Festival editions), the iconic Schwebebahn (hanging monorail), and a sleep concert in 2011 led to the first release as “Sphäre Sechs” in 2012. After albums on Malignant Records, Cryo Chamber, and Echo Elberfeld, this is the first release on Loki Foundation.
