A FARCASTER is a technology that allows to travel large distances without any time passing by. It connects planets, galaxies, universes.
This album was recorded in march 2020 during improvised studio sessions and online concerts.

BRANCES

“Branches” is a classic dub techno setup with rich chords, endless tape-delay loops and deep sine waves. “Flowers” and “Trees” move to the ambient techno territory with lush pads, evolving atmospheres and driving 909 drums. The last track “Birds” takes you back to the beginning with slowly evolving chords, subtile rhythms and field recordings.
This music was recorded in one of my “stay at home concerts” and studio sessions in april 2020.
PHELIOS – SPIRITS OF RHEA

SPIRITS OF RHEA features radio emissions and re-synthesised images from the Saturn system recorded by the NASA probe CASSINI which investigated the Saturn system until signal loss in 2017.

ollowing the release of April 2020’s Farcaster, Martin Stürtzer returns with another sequencer-fueled album, The Omarion Nebula. Utilizing both vintage (Oberheim Xpander) and modern (Waldorf Iridium) hardware, Stürtzer continues to build upon a discography that not only exhibits his unique approach to ambient electronic & Berlin School music, but expands the boundaries of this classic genre.

ollowing the release of May 2020’s Branches, Martin Stürtzer returns with another dub techno EP, P-Branes. Crafted with analog synthesizers and hardware drum computers, the four tracks are built around deep chords and effects, expanding the world of rhythm-based atmospheric soundscapes.
Of special personal note, esteemed Russian dub techno pioneer and long-time favorite artist, Heavenchord, closes out the collection with a masterful reworking of the track Higher Dimensions.
