Antares Station

“Antares Station” is the follow-up release to 2024’s “Dawn of Time.” The two long-form tracks were recorded during the critically acclaimed Home Concert series, which Martin Stürtzer has been running without interruption since 2020. Both tracks begin with cosmic ambiences, pads, and sound effects created by Stürtzer using his collection of analog and digital synthesizers. Before entering cryosleep, the listener is caught by a stream of evolving sequences.
The two shorter tracks highlight the melodic potential of Stürtzer’s work, blending smooth basslines with progressing harmonies and intricate sequences.
The material was carefully mixed by Martin Stürtzer with the vinyl format in mind and mastered by Leon Bölting at Arclab using high-end tools, always with the goal of preserving the dynamic range of the analog instruments.

“Acoustic Systems” is a four-track EP inspired by my hiking tour through Norway’s Hardangervidda. It features slow Dub Techno and Dub Ambient, blending lush chords, field recordings, and harmonic modulations.

This album captures the atmosphere of the Blade Runner universe. I recorded this session in August 2022, but never released it before. The music is improvised and hugely inspired by the work of Vangelis’ original soundtrack.
Black Ocean (featuring S1gns of L1fe)

Chris Bryant (S1gns Of L1fe) visited Wuppertal in March 2025. We met in my studio and recorded a deep, immersive Space Ambient liveset. Together, we crafted intricate sound patches and evolving sequences, making full use of my entire hardware synthesizer setup. A lush, ethereal pad from Chris’ Hive soundset was the only software synth used in this expansive sonic exploration. Arranged live in Bitwig under Neptun’s supervision, the result is a 35-minute journey through The Black Ocean of space.

t took me almost two years to record a new Dub Techno liveset and so I am very happy to present this album today. l started working on this set in December and recorded the final version last weekend. Special thanks to salt for the cover photography.

Portal to Tau Ceti

Portal to Tau Ceti is my first release of 2025. I recorded the music on New Year’s Day as part of my Home Concert 68. The three parts of this album are mostly improvised with soundscapes and Ambient Pads. The arrival at the Tau Ceti system is reflected by the only synthesizer sequence at the very end of the album.
